East Bengal thrashed CCFC in the 1st practice match of the season

Starting the journey with a bit of anxiousness, some questions are arising on my mind. Can anyone watch the 1st practice match of our mother club East Bengal without CCFC card? As it is the 1st match of the Red-Gold brigade, can they thrash the weak opponent comparing to them? Will the new recruits have a mark on the match? All this questions have a common ans. A big YES! East Bengal club’s UB representative Mr.Amit Sen kind gesture, made all the fellow East Bengal supporters watch the game in the beautiful CCFC ground. Heartiest thanks to him. A decent crowd watched a delightful display of football by East Bengal, vanquishing CCFC 7-0.

East Bengal faces CCFC, a super giant against a mouse! Coming back 2 the match , the coach Trevor James Morgan had decided to play the whole squad in this match. He actually constructed the 1st XI, like the previous year main team except 3 changes Priyant Singh the Goal keeper, Alvito D Cunha & Branko . East Bengal tried out a new formation 4-3-2-1. The stopper duo Raju & Gurwindar, The side backs Naoba Sing & Saumik dey ,the four defenders can easily be the Indian squad & they gave their 100% percent to ensure the triumph.Alivito D Cunha started in the 1st XI ,talking the ball with his left foot. He turned, he camouflaged, he just stunned the opponents with his awesome skills.Penn-the midfield magician, also in his prime form .With Subodh Kumar playing as blocker,Sanju & Charan Rai as attacking medio  , Branco as the striker  East Bengal started their free flowing passing football & looking like 2 score early . Match was just  5 mins old , Charan rai drew 1st blood .Soon after the 1st goal , Penn made it 2 -0 for the guests. Abhisek Das, who is originally a right back, playing in the right wing. CCFC bites back with some attacks ,but all r in vain ,as the attacks have less venom comparing to the Red-Gold.A free-kick for the CCFC  just outside the box ,flown away just over the bar . East Bengal leads 3-0 within 18 mins as a CCFC footballer semsided only to bring joy for the east Bengal supporters face. Branco converted a great pass to a goal when the clock ticked 25 mins. Penn,Alvito & Charan Rai is involved in several plays in front of the goal of Ghana and shots are fired . Branco scoredagain  in the 30 mins to give his team a 5-0 lead . East Bengak fuels up, implementing breathtaking counters. Penn and Alvi both showed fantastic technique. This is what the crowd want to see.A super strike from Charan rai ended a mindblowing 1st half 4 the visitors. Scoreline, EB-6 CCFC-0.

A new east Bengal team came in the 2nd half with some new recruits Arnab MondalSafar Sardar ,Kavin lobo . Mehetab hossain ,Robert,Jayanta Paul,Robin singh ,saikat saha Roy also included in the 2nd half. East Bengal start sharp straight after the whistle, it looks like they have big plans.

CCFC is dangerous at times, but nothing like The Red-Gold brigade. East Bengal’s pressing football,perfect passing was a delight 2 the eyes. But,CCFC fought hard & obstructed the East Bengal attacks. Robin Sing came near 2 score the goal twice.But,he failed 2 convert those.But,The match was over for the CCFC players . They tried their level best,but can’t do much. As East Bengal players controlling the match,the East Bengal supporters were in very chillaxing mood even the score was not increased . Around  88 mins ,Arnab Mondal scored his 1st goal 4 the Red-Gold 2 make it 7-0.The match looked like a Manchester City vs Sunderland encounter as East Bengal choose 2 wear a sky blue practice jersey . Some lethal attacks ,crisp & passionate football by the EasT Bengal players ,made the Super Sunday afternoon a superior & sweet one for all the east Bengal supporters including Me. Truly,CCFC is one of the best place 2 play quality football. Kudos to them for arranging all the stuffs. Starting the season with a bang .hope that it will continue till the end of the season.Now,time for kalyani as East Bengal left the city yesterday 4 the training session & camp. See u at kalyani,as EBRP members will also cheer for the team there.
