





Real POWER celebrates 9th Anniversary of ASEAN

26th July 2003, is a very important day for the history of East Bengal. Although only nine years have passed since that day, it is considered as the pinnacle of success which the Red and Gold's have achieved in their entire history. BEC Tero Sassana, a name which many may not familiarize with in mordern times was the second best club of Asia in 2003 having been the runners up of the AFC Champions League. East Bengal had to face them in ASEAN Cup finals.it was the Red and Golds who won and created history. A win which not only made news on Indian soil, but also on the Asian shores put Indian football on the word radar. A club from India had achieved something which none before them had achieved. They had won an important international trophy. The joy was more fruitful as East Bengal had beaten BEC Tero Sasana, the then AFC Champions League winners convincingly.
Although Nine long year’s have past the great achievement, the day still embeds itself in the hearts of millions of East Bengal fans worldwide. To celebrate this gala event the members of EAST BENGAL the Real POWER reached Kalyani, where the Red and Gold’s are undergoing their Pre-Season camp.
Alvito D’Cunha the sole player left in the current pre-season line up who was the part of the winning team was presented the honours to cut the cake. Alvito did it with joy and shared his emotions with the rest of the group.
It is the most prestigious achievement made by a club of India on foreign soil and every fan can celebrate this day still today because of the fact that this achievement is our pride and we live by that. The face of Indian football club got to high level after this win and the foreign clubs came to know more about the Indian clubs. East Bengal ruled the headlines of every big newspaper not only in India but also in foreign newspaper.











We, EAST BENGAL the Real POWER thank all the players and staffs related with this win and also hope for a great season ahead. We are giving some old memories of our celebration.

Real POWER celebrates Sixth anniversary of ASEAN

When the clock ticked 12:00 midnight on the 25th of July, a Historic achievement reached it’s 6th Birthday through the hands of the most successful Football Club on the Indian soil. It is on this day that the Red and Gold Army had lifted the famous ASEAN Cup, the first victory for any Indian Football club in any Asian level competition. The joy was more fruitful as East Bengal had beaten BEC Tero Sasana, the then AFC Champions League winners convincingly.
To celebrate this gala event the members of EAST BENGAL the Real POWER reached Toshali Sands-Puri, where the Red and Gold’s are undergoing their Pre-Season camp.
At around 3 p.m. EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members reached Toshali Sands and wished the 6th anniversary of the great achievement to the Footballers and the Coach Subhash Bhowmick. Everyone was happy seeing the Real POWER fans present at the Hotel and many were surprised to see them make arrangements for the celebration. Real POWER presented the team with a cake remembering the 6 years of wonderful memories.
Alvito D Cunha being the only member of the original squad cut the cake and shared it with the other footballers.
Among the foreigners Sebastien and Berger was unaware of the fact and seemed to get excited when informed about it by one of our EBRP correspondents. Ramez Dayoub, though knew about East Bengal’s success in the ASEAN cup.
Talking to Subhash Bhowmick on his views, the think tank’s reply will sound as encouraging for the East Bengal supporters. “ ASEAN is in our memories now, our main target should now be the future, Although, I am very happy that Real POWER have come to Puri to celebrate such a wonderful occasion.”
East Bengal Club Team Manager Mr. Swapan Ball also expressed his happiness on the involvement of Real POWER. After this the club officials requested Real POWER Members to have dinner with the team.
On Monday, the players will only be gymming and will be undergoing swimming sessions to work on their physical strength and fitness.









CELEBRATING 5 YEARS of ASEAN CUP on 26th JULY 2008 in CLUB TENT
26th July is a Historical day for every East Bengal Fans. On this very special day We won the Historical ASEAN Championship by beating BEC Tero Sasana of Thailand. Every East Bengal supporter of any part of this world used to celebrate this day with all their love and emotion. “We are EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Fans”, which is a forum to express the feelings of East Bengal supporters ranging from Kolkata to whole world, celebrated the day in the club tent with their members and players by cutting cake as a part of this history celebration.
We gathered in the club tent early in the Morning with Cake and Flags, Our members arranged the programme in a disciplined manner. Alvito De Cunha (Player of ASEAN CUP Team), Manoranjan Bhattacharya(COACH, EX-Player), Rajat Guha Roy(Manager of ASEAN CUP Team) cut the cake with all our Members. Then we distributed the cake among all players, staff and officials and also supporters. Everybody present in the club enjoyed the history that our players created 5years ago.
