A request to East Bengal Club from the bottom of our heart

Every season, it is a norm for the clubs of Europe to represent their team in the best possible kits and colours in front of the whole world. The kit of the club is the identity of the prestige and stature the club possess. It is this kit, which combined with performances on the field makes the club favourite among the supporters and the admirers.

East Bengal club has one of the most flamboyant colours in Indian football. The design is also one of the most stylish and traditional compared to all the teams currently featuring in the I League. Although, East Bengal club jersey is really good, it sometimes doesn’t feel the jersey of a club which is the most successful one of the country. Before people get me wrong here, I don’t mean the colour or any other specific features of the kit, I am mentioning the overall presentation appeal of the kit.

I thought to design a jersey for the upcoming season. I tried to give the kit a professional look keeping in mind the tradition of East Bengal club. I would very much like the club officials to give this jersey a look and make the kit for the upcoming season. It would be an absolute honour for me if in the end the officials decide to represent this design as the kit of East Bengal club.





Real POWER secretary, Rabi Shankar Sen have already sent an e-mail to the club with the proposal to select this design for the upcoming season.

This is Rabi Shankar Sen, secretary, EAST BENGAL the Real POWER. With all due respect I want to state that I have been presented with a design of the East Bengal club jersey for the upcoming season, 2012-13, designed by Sandipan Chakraborty.

The design of the jersey has really impressed me and I want the opportunity to present this design to you with the hope that this design is considered while developing the kits of the team for the upcoming season. The design looks very professional and neat and I believe that this will enhance the team to the world in the highest sense of prestige and pride which the team already possesses.

I will be extremely proud if my proposal is accepted and I will feel myself to be honoured if the designs are chosen by East Bengal club for the upcoming season.
