JCT 5-1 Shillong Lajong FC

JCT started their I League campaign in style as they routed debutant Shillong Lajong FC by 5-1 margin in the match played today at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.

Man of the Match Baljeet Singh Saini scored a hattrick for JCT while Balwant Singh & sakatar Singh scored the other for JCT.

Michael Bassey reduced the margin for Lajong FC. JCT's Nigerian midfielder pen Ikechuwu Orji missed a penalty.
