East Bengal defeated Shandong Luneng FC(China) by 3-1 margin in the IFA Shield Group Stage Match at Yuba Bharati Krirangan. Mi-Hao-Ling(22') gave Chinese outfit the lead but the red & golds bounced back and scored through Baljit Singh Sahni(41'), Reisangmei Vashum(77') and Ravinder Singh(90'+) to clinch the win. Ravinder Singh of East Bengal was adjudged Man of the Match.
