East Bengal felicitated FIFA President Mr. Blatter

On 15th April, 2007, East Bengal Club felicitated FIFA President Mr. Joseph S. Blatter at the Club lawn on his arrival to the Club tent on his first ever historic official visit to the Club.

Mr. Blatter was accompanied by AFC President Mr. Mohammed Bin Hammam along with other FIFA delegates and AIFF President Mr. Priya Ranjan Das Munshi.

Mr. Blatter was welcomed at the Club with the customary ‘chandan tilak’ & flowers, after that Mr. Blatter went to the stage and  released Red & Gold balloons in the air.

He was presented a memento by Club Vice-President Mr. Manas Mukherjee at the stage along with Red & Gold scarf & souvenir.

After his speech he went to inaugurate the new gymnasium of the club inside the Club premises. Mr. Blatter then also made his visit inside the club tent, trophy room and the modern dressing room for the players.
