Real POWER feels glad and at the same time says sorry

EAST BENGAL the Real POWER a premier fans club of East Bengal club is facing problems to provide our service to our beloved supporters.

1. Sometimes our Website doesn't work due to massive visitors: -

We are glad that 35000 visitors per day visits our website, but at the same it is causing undesirable problem for us. Being a non-profit, unprofessional organization Real POWER website is run by cheap shared server, It costs Rs. 40,000 p.a. for maintenance. We are short of fund and can not buy our own server which will cost Rs. 2 lac p.a. In shared version of server, at a single moment if enormous number of visitors is visiting the website then they are blocked by the server authority.

That is why sometimes it occurs a problem that "I cannot connect to the database because: Too many connections”. We condemn our failures heads down and wish to have help from your side that we can run our website smoothly. Any support from yours is always welcome. We will have to shut our website down if this process happens in regular basis.

2. Problem regarding non receiving of SMS:-

EBRP are unfortunate that “TRAI” has limited the SMS sending option to a number of 200 per day. This is the reason why only 200 of our supporters selected by sending authorities is receiving news regarding East Bengal daily.

EAST BENGAL the Real POWER is an extremely passionate group of people trying to implement latest ideas and bring in a global vision for the club and its supporters. However we are also constrained on many fronts especially financially. The cost of buying a high quality dedicated server to telecast such matches is approx. INR 2 Lakhs / month which is not feasible presently, as EBRP is not a professional body but a group of members providing the cost of maintenance from their own pockets.

As a result, we were unable to push our limits more than sharing a server.

Real POWER website EBRP.in is run for the fans by the fans. It means that the entire cost of running the website is taken by the members of EBRP.We consist of Students, Businessman, Doctors, Engineers and Serviceman. 

There is a member who is a school student. He usually saves the entire money given to him by his parents for Tiffin, for the website. Such is the love and passion of the people who try to maintain the website.
