A Match of both smiles and sorrow for the Supporters

In this world of fanfare football we see many new interesting features being tried and tested by the supporters of various football clubs across the globe. Such was the case this Sunday when the members of EAST BENGAL the Real POWER organized a football match featuring the Real POWER SUPER SENIORS against the Real POWER ROYAL JUNIORS. The match lived up to its billing  and was enjoyed by each and every Real POWER member being part of it. It has to be said that this was the first time that a fan club in India has taken such a step and it will be stated that this is not the first time. With support many more such matches or even tournaments may be organized by EAST BENGAL the Real POWER in the future.

Today the dawn cracked with a ting of gloom as we the EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Fans had  to challenge our owns. Most probably the for the first time when East Bengal fans faced their own fans as rival in a friendly football match. A friendly football match took place between the Junior and senior  members of EBRP.The junior team were made up by the members who are up to the age limit of 25 and the senior team were formed by our owns who are above 25.

The environment was tensed  as the junior team members threatened the seniors  in the name of their age. Though junior members practiced quite a few times among themselves before game but senior members were very much confident about their ability.The game took place at GD block ground in Saltlake, And senior members were easily outsmarted by the Royal juniors of Real Power brigade.  Seniors put up a brave fight in the first half to restrict the juniors into an one goal lead but the in the second half the conceded six and scored one.The never looked convincing and moreover their age played the role of cruel enemy against them. Some sublime saves by Rajib Kundu and solid defending by Mr. Mahadeb  held the score at 7-1. After two goals down the seniors held their nerve and scored one through Subhojit and started to play attacking against the juniors who were like racing horses in the field. A heavy shower played in favour of the juniors as members Bittu Banerjee, Jit Bose , Rajib Mukherjee scored six goals together  in no time. Specially Goal Keeper Sourav Sarkar and Rajib Mukherejee was running  like spark in the field. Some faint protest for illegal foul was raised by senior team manager Rabi Shankar Sen and members like Nabarun Mohalanobis but Referee Sambit Dey neglecting all the odds directed the game  under extreme supremacy. Senior members lost their pride after witnessing such humiliating defeat.

The friendly football match was organised by the members just for for refreshment and fun but it opened an unknown door in front of us. After a long time we members got united in the name of football, under the banner  of parent club in a homely environment. A joyous moment brought back smiles into the face old friends who were gathered after long time, moreover irrespective of class, age, social status fans got united for football. Even  non EBRP  members cheered for us, members who were not participating in the game cheered for us ,it was an awesome indescribable through words .

First time members meet their seniors and heard about their experience Learning from this event We The EAST BENGAL the Real POWER fans will organise a friendly football tournament among us for our unity in a bit disciplined  manner. We urges to all our to participate in our events to tie ourselves in one string. And please come forward and take responsibility for betterment and up gradation of our forum. In the month of august we will organise a similar type of event in a broad way and your presence needed. Last but not the least we thank all our members who present there snatching time from their busy schedule and we missed them who failed to attain the event.
