A Special Contribution makes a Cherishable Memory

A bitter taste to what may be called an eventful journey was witnessed by the people of Maidan football when the East Bengal U19 players were unable to win the coveted U19 I League crown which even eluded their seniors thus applying a glee over a commendable journey. Although the final hurdle was left to be accomplished but the dominance in its path should be considered as a well deserved accomplishment. Taking this accomplishment as a milestone the group of EAST BENGAL the Real POWER honoured the teenagers with an amount of Rs 10,000/- thus showing a sense of gratitude to the weightage of joy and emotions which the young shoulders have carried throughout the journey.

Speaking on the occasion East Bengal U19 Coach Tarun Dey stated, “Frankly speaking I don’t think these boys deserve this money. The amount of chances they have wasted cannot be forgiven. But, at the end of the day, this money symbolizes your love and support for them even in the times of defeat. So, I would thank you for your support and care.”

Speaking on the occasion Real POWER president Dr. Tanmoy Ganguly stated that “This is a first step towards many which Real POWER hopes to fulfill in the coming years. Winning or losing is a part of the game but the support in which a supporter supports a team should be honest and Real POWER always tries to follow the path. This gift is just a token of love and a enthusiasm which a player wearing an East Bengal jersey deserves to get.”

Team captain Saikat Saha Roy said, “Before the match I told about Real POWER to the entire team as to how Real POWER supports us in every game. Even the previous year there was support throughout the tournament. Thank you for your kindness.”

We would like to state here that even last year we gifted the team Rs 5000/- after they had come runners up to Sporting Clube De Goa.

Although the amount may be considered nominal and negligible in the current scenario of world sport and football, but it was not the amount itself which carries the meaning of gratitude, but it symbolizes it. We thank all those who have contributed for this wonderful cause. We would like to specially mention here the names of the people who have given their part to make this moment possible for Real POWER.

We have not mentioned the amount each of them has contributed because that will signify a difference in the mind of the people reading this article. But for us and the cause, the contribution from everyone of them holds equal weight. For this purpose we may also visit an instance. We remember that there are small members of Real POWER who in the times of dire circumstances comes forward to help Real POWER monetarily even though they themselves do not have any source of income. To make these contributions more priceless we come to know that the help was possible from saving the lunch money of these students. There are plenty more of this instances which would take nearly a lot of more words to cover. But, the entire Real POWER family is truly proud of its members and people.

Even through these words may pollute this article, but some bitter truth is always better than well dressed lies. “Business Organisation” as Real POWER is momentarily referred by many is the term which signifies our organization today. We are a place who intentionally destroy the future of young kids and are maligning the name “East Bengal” in a serious way. Although this allegations float in the air, we really are not aware of the reason they even exist. Yes, Real POWER does exist today and will continue to do so in future, but will these comments and tag follow Real POWER forever? Well, we don’t know, but until then it will be the love and dedication of our members and lovers which will drive us to move forward pushing aside the hardest of challenges which the path will throw at us.

One more thing which we would like to add here that along our way we have gained a lot of support. But, along with it we have lost some. Arpan Chakraborty and Shrutyayu Saha have bid us farewell forever. We know that they are watching every move which Real POWER makes and are still supporting the cause for which Real POWER exist. So, for them and for every East Bengal supporter out there, Real POWER will survive.

Before needing this article we would like to suggest is that if more people comes forward from tomorrow then maybe this amount would have been…
