EBRP misses a big Golden Opportunity to Step Up
Thursday, February 17, 2011 Report By EBRP.in Reporter
A few days ago many of us were visually impressed to see an article of our coach, Trevor James Morgan being published at the FIFA website. A great deal of pride and excitement arose within our heart giving us an instant pleasure of finding our passion making its way into the website of the games biggest body. Thus, the jubilation made a semi-permanent place within our hearts, thus, providing us with a reason to spend some days with cheerful memories.
But, from the perspective of EBRP or EAST BENGAL the Real POWER, as it is known to the world, the excitement was added with a pinch of hatred and agony towards the self bodies who are responsible for the functioning of the organization. Before a day when Morgan’s article was published at the FIFA website there was a mail which was sent to the official e-mail id i.e info@ebrp.in of EBRP. It was from the FIFA headquarters asking Real POWER a photograph of East Bengal’s coach stating that a courtesy was in offer if Real POWER was able to supply the photograph. Now, as there was no one who checked the mail for an entire day and was late in sending the photograph, the article was already published with a photograph from a different source thus ending the possibility of EBRP taking a further step in its activity criteria.
Suddenly a thought of mixed emotion is certain to arrive within the diehard faithful’s and the followers of EBRP. Could we have not sent the photographs a bit early so that we could have gotten a FIFA appreciation? What was the reason behind this lost opportunity?
The answer was clear. UNPROFESSIONALISM. As we don’t have the manpower to keep a human being in front of the mail for 24 hours hence, we lost the opportunity of such stature.
But, what can we denote from this? Although an unprofessional firm, EBRP gets a nod of importance from the greatest footballing body of the world.
But, what more?..........The answer is for the readers to choose.
