Real POWER is already Five Years Old now. In these Five years Real POWER had gone through different phases. Real POWER not only supported their favourite team East Bengal but also stood beside the team in their bad phase. Real POWER not only cheered for East Bengal from the stand, not only celebrated player’s birthday, not only went to airport to welcome the players but also tries to understand what the players feel when they are being assaulted through slang words from gallery. Real POWER’s aim is not only supporting East Bengal Club but also to make people aware that Football is such a game that has long history in India. When sports like cricket is dominating in India, when IPL is becoming the Brand of India, then Real POWER is trying to create awareness of Football. So Real POWER started sponsoring football tournaments in different places. Last year Real POWER sponsored in different football tournaments and this year also we are trying to do the same. This year Real POWER has already sponsored a Junior Tournament at Birati. Now it is in Kalindi.

EBRP.in sponsored the 2010 Kalindi Junior Smriti Trophy. This is the second year that EBRP.in is sponsoring this tournament. In 2009 also this tournament was sponsored by EBRP.in. The tournament is played in memory of Cristiano JUNIOR.

This tournament is played at Kalindi Plot Play Ground and is organized by Kalindi Junior Sporting Club and Kalindi Boys Club. Eight teams participated in the knockout tournament. It was a Six-A-Side tournament and the match regulation was of 20 minutes with 10 minutes of each half.

The Final was played between Defending Champions Kalindi Junior Sporting Club and Goila Bagan Uited.

Following are the match results:

First Quarter Final - Goila Bagan United defeated Lalgarh United via Penalty Shootout
Second Quarter Final - Kalindi Junior Sporting Club defeated Six Bullets via Penalty Shootout
Third Quarter Final – Dum Dum Bullets defeated Aikyatan by 2-1
Fourth Quarter Final - The Real POWER defeated Kalindi Boys Club by 2-1

First Semifinal - Kalindi Junior Sporting Club defeated The Real POWER via Toss
Second Semifinal - Goila Bagan United defeated Dum Dum Bullets by 1-0

The second Semifinal was interrupted for 10 minutes due to some problem regarding referee decision. Goila Bagan United was leading by a goal and in the dying minutes DumDum Bullets were denied a genuine penalty by the referee. So DumDum Bullets protested with it and the match was interrupted. DumDum Bullets further denied getting back to the match and as a result Goila Bagan United was declared winner.

In the final Goila Bagan United defeated Kalindi Junior Sporting Club via Penalty Shootout.

Bishu of Kalindi Junior Sporting Club was adjudged Man of the Tournament for scoring Two Goals and performing well in the Quarter Final and Semifinal.
