Team EBRP with Team East Bengal at Kalyani Camp

“Wherever the East Bengal Team goes, EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Follows” following this slogan Real  POWER Members went to Kalyani on 20th August 2010. A team of 10 members started their journey at 4:40AM in the morning from Bansdroni in South Kolkata. Picking members from different places finally EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members reached Kalyani LAKE HALL Hotel where the players were staying at around 8:00 AM. Channel 10 was our media partner in the whole trip of Kalyani.

The Club officials who were present at Kalyani gave EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members a Grand Welcome. They appreciated the EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members for coming and supporting the Team. The arrangement was made for EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members’ Breakfast at Lake Hall.

At around 9:00 AM the players came down at the hotel lawn and EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members & Players went together to the Kalyani Municipal Stadium for the morning session practice. East Bengal team did practice which had a mixture of ball practice and physical training. It was really enjoyable to see that the players with coach were enjoying the practice. They were also passing small jokes among themselves. After the practice session the team went to the swimming pool. In the whole session Team Real  POWER cheered the team.

When Coach Morgan heard that the Real  POWER members came all over from Kolkata to support the team he appreciated it and said that East Bengal Team needs the support of the fans. Moreover, it was informed to him that Real  POWER is always behind the team, not only in good phase but also in bad phase also. That really made Coach Morgan delighted and said that East Bengal team needs their fans support every time.   

In the afternoon the Club officials made the arrangement of Lunch for Team Real  POWER. They also informed that arrangements was there for the Real  POWER Members’ for night stay.

In the second session practice, situational practice was given more importance and the players did some physical training also. Team Real  POWER cheered to every shot taken by the players in the practice session. Channel 10, Kolkata TV, News Times were all present in the Practice session.

Coming back to the hotel, EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members were introduced to the Chairman of Kalyani Municipality. It was informed to him that EAST BENGAL the Real POWER had their own Website, which gives more updated news on East Bengal than the Club’s own Website.

In the evening Real  POWER Members wished Coach Trevor James Morgan good luck. Real  POWER Members said, “We are the die-hard fans of East Bengal Club; we had our own Website where you will find all updated news about East Bengal Club and Indian Football. We are always with East Bengal team at good as well as at bad phase. We had one request to you; make this team a BOMB so that they can DESTROY all their opponents in the field.” Coach Morgan in his replied said, “He is delighted with the support of Real  POWER Team and said the team will do well this year.” Then he asked “What is your priority, Beating Mohun Bagan or Winning Trophy?” Real  POWER replied that “beating arch rivals will always give satisfaction, but our Priority was to win Trophies.” He appreciated the answer. Finally EAST BENGAL the Real POWER wished all the players a good luck.

Before starting for Kolkata, EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members were given tea and snacks. Finally Team EAST BENGAL the Real POWER reached Kolkata at 10:30 PM. Before ending we want to give our gratitude to the Club Management for making such a grand arrangement for EAST BENGAL the Real POWER Members and want to wish Best of Luck to The East Bengal Team for every success of this season.
